A 40-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Marbella after threatening partygoers with a large knife last weekend.

The man sowed chaos in glitzy Puerto Banus after injuring a pedestrian with the blade, stealing a mobile phone from another person, and assaulting a third passer-by on Sunday, according to Diario Sur.

Emergency services raced to Antonio Banderas Square at around 6.30am following multiple reports that an individual armed with a large knife was terrorising crowds in the nightclub district after the parties had ended.
