A BOY, 9, escaped with minor injuries after a golf buggy plunged off a bridge at the La Marquesa golf course in Quesada.
A fire crew from Almoradi were called after 5pm on Monday to go the accident site.
The youngster was in the buggy close to the 16th hole when it left a track.

It careered some three metres off a wooden bridge into a creek.
The Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium said that in spite of the dramatic nature of the accident, nobody was trapped.
It has not been clarified whether the boy was the buggy driver or whether somebody else was with him.
He suffered various injuries and was treated by an ambulance crew.
The boy’s nationality has not been revealed with emergency services finishing their work at 6.13pm.
The La Marquesa course is especially popular with British tourists and expats.
It opened in 1989 to lead a wave of new courses on the Costa Blanca.
