A FAMILY whose Costa del Sol home is being terrorised by burglars has offered a staggering €50,000 reward for information that helps catch the thieves.
The Estepona residents say they have been ‘living in fear’ since burglars first ransacked their home in Cancelada on July 7, making off with diamonds, gold jewellery, designer bags and expensive clothes.
The thieves also stole a copy of the house keys, the family said, and allegedly tried to break in again on July 31 and August 4. By then, however, the residents had changed the locks.
Family members also claim they have been followed by strangers on several occasions, with their children now ‘becoming spooked’ whenever a car drives past the house.

“It is like living in a horror film,” the family told Spanish outlet Area Costa del Sol.
“They won’t leave us alone, even though they’ve already stolen anything valuable we had in the house.”
They added: “We really need to find out who these people are. We cannot continue living in fear. They keep coming back.”
The family say there has been no progress in recovering their stolen belongings or identifying the burglars since the original break-in.
They are now appealing for anyone with information about the burglaries to come forward.
A €50,000 reward is being offered for information that helps identify the suspects, with tips being accepted at tipsapain@outlook.com.
