RUMOURS are swirling that British rock superstars Oasis could return to Spain for the first time in 18 years after the band shared a teaser video on social media hinting at a series of gigs in Barcelona.
The Gallagher brothers – Liam and Noel – are widely expected to announce a European tour later this month, a year after they buried the hatch on a long-running feud and reunited to go on a hugely successful 41-date world tour.
On that occasion, they opted to skip Spain, but fans are increasingly confident that the band will perform on Spanish soul for the first time since a gig in Madrid in 2009.
Since Thursday, Oasis have been posting a series of cryptic videos on social media, each appearing to hint at a different location for a potential 2027 European tour.
The first featured numbers that formed the coordinates of Celtic Park in Glasgow, while the second video suggested 11 concerts in their hometown of Manchester.
Another clip hinted at a visit to Munich in Germany.
And a video shared on Sunday appeared to show a man playing a Spanish guitar in a tavern, with a poster of Catalan artist Joan Miro on the wall bearing the dates of June 18 to August 26.
That has led fans to speculate that Barcelona will be one of the destinations for the upcoming tour, with potential locations including the renovated Camp Nou or the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic.

On Saturday, The Sun reported that Oasis plan to play 23 UK dates, plus gigs in France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
The Gallagher brothers were in Venice, Italy on Saturday to attend the world premiere of their documentary, Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger.
The pair posed on the red carpet together and appeared emotional after receiving a standing ovation but avoided making any statement and skipped the official press conference amid growing rumours of another tour.
