SPAIN’s most delicious gourmet product is now turning heads in London.
For the world’s “most expensive” Iberico ham is up for grabs in the food hall of Selfridges.
Costing a cool 2000 euros for a seven-kilo leg the Extremadura-produced meat has been salted and cured for three years.
It is sold in hand-made wooden boxes wrapped in aprons fitted by Spanish tailors.
The legs even come with their own DNA certificate as proof of authenticity.
Selfridges fresh food buyer, Andrew Cavanna, said: “Every single gram will be savoured as one of life’s incredible gourmet luxuries.”
