BRITISH film director Ken Loach has won a key Spanish award for his latest film It’s a Free World.
Loach, who won plaudits for his 1995 film Land and Freedom which depicted events in the Spanish Civil War, has now been awarded the prestigious Giraldillo de Or at the Sevilla film festival.
It’s a Free World deals with illegal immigration and employment in the UK.
