• A Sister’s Gift topped the bestseller list |
By James Bryce
A GIBRALTARIAN author has topped the Amazon Kindle bestseller list, two years after the book was first published.
Giselle Green’s third novel A Sister’s Gift reached the summit on December 30 after just five days in the top 100.
The book also appeared at the top of the Kindle Fiction and Most Wanted lists and comes just weeks after the release of Green’s fourth novel, Falling for You.
The UK-based writer – who has also published a non-fiction book The Writer’s Guide to the Zodiac – spent her formative years in Gibraltar, describing it as ‘a great place to grow up’.
On her sudden rise to prominence, Green said: “I actually have no idea how a book that is now two years old has suddenly gone up to the number one slot in the Kindle list.
“So I will have to put the fact that it rocketed up there down to divine intervention.” A Sister’s Gift is based around the lives of two sisters, as one is called on to help the other start a family.
