Spain's electric car sales up 213% in February

ELECTRIC cars are driving forward in their popularity in Spain.

Sales rose by 213% during the month of February compared to the same time last year, equating to 254 units sold.

Madrilenos are by far the biggest buyers for this green way of travelling.

The province saw 80 electric cars bought compared to just 10 in Andalucia.
