Forest fire erupts on Spain's Costa del Sol

UPDATE: The fire is believed to have been brought under control

A FOREST fire has broken out on the Costa del Sol.

Expats and locals have been sharing images of the blaze on social media.

It is believed to have began about an hour ago at the exit for Arroyo near Benalmadena.

Authorities have yet to confirm the fire.
