Expats in Ronda still concerned over freight trains

EXPATS in the Serrania de Ronda are continuing their fight against the Mediterranean Corridor.

Despite claims that the new government has backed plans to run the Mediterranean Corridor along the Med, residents of the area are meeting to discuss how a new freight line would affect them.

There will be speakers from the IU, Silvema and the local PP, looking at the economic, environmental and political issues surrounding the scheme as well as discussing any viable alternatives.

The meeting is being held at 18.00 on March 1 in the Convento de Santo Domingo in Ronda.
