by

Five people have died in two separate work accidents in Granada and Almería.
In the more serious of the two, four men died when the carbon silo they were erecting at the Holcim cement factory in Carboneras collapsed, killing two outright.

Four more workers were taken to hospital in Almería with serious injuries.

In a separate incident, a 27-year-old Granada man died after the dumper truck he was driving overturned, trapping him inside.
Police said the man died while working in Huetor Tajar.
