The two Royal Gibraltar Detectives illegally searched a house in the border town after a robbery took place in Gibraltar.
Even worse, they seized evidence without permission from the Spanish authorities.
Following a complaint from the Spanish Foreign Minister, the Gibraltar Government has now admitted that its agents did not follow “the established procedures”.
According to Gibraltar First Minister, Peter Caruana, the incident was “regrettable”. He said: “The Gibraltar police have acted improperly.”
Last week in the Bay of Gibraltar Spanish Civil Guard (its a WELL ARMED paramilitary force)Patrol Boats entered British Waters and aggressively and illegally stopped the legal pursuit being carried out by British Forces of a suspect Spaniard National.
Last Thursday a Spanish National was arrested in Gibraltar for being illegally in possession of 126 cigarette cartons.
