Munch and Bacon come to Benalmadena

IT is not often you get to see a Miro, Munch and Warhol in the same room.

Add in Picasso and Bacon and you are in for a treat in Benalmadena this Spring.

A new exhibition, at the exhibition centre, gives the art lover a journey through six centuries of masterpieces.

There are more than 50 works on show with other artists including Braque, Ernst, Kandinsky and Saura on display.

The impressive collection, entitled ‘Estampaciones’, has been organised by Caja Granada and spans the 15th to the 21st century.

The exhibition is free and will run until April 24 in the Centro de Exposiciones.

    • Suzannah – we endeavour to get all comments online as quickly as possible but, unfortunately, we have had to introduce a more robust automated checking system to cope with the huge amount of spam and the occasional offensive comment. If a comment goes into the ‘holding’ queue it then has to be cleared manually. Every effort is made to check them regularly – but it’s not feasible to have someone monitoring them 24/7. Regards, Karl – midnight on a Sunday evening!!!!

  1. Ah poor Karl having to work on a Sunday evening. Midnight? That’s tea-time in Spain! Come on Karl, we thought you had embraced the Spanish lifestyle and were a night creature.

  2. Thanks Karl, for your speedy response. I appreciate your comments regarding the dreaded spam, having experienced it for myself as a site moderator. All credit due for above and beyond for the bank holiday!!
