Man fabricates violent robbery in iPhone fraud scam

A MAN who lied about being violently robbed for his iPhone to make an insurance claim is being prosecuted.

The 39-year-old said his phone was taken from him in an attack in Fuengirola.

However, the police later discovered that the man was still using the phone and made up the story to claim €450 from his insurance company.
