Untimely death of Books4Spain owner Rod Younger

ROD Younger, owner of Books4Spain, passed away suddenly at the weekend of a suspected heart attack.

He was widely known and respected for his online bookshop specialising in English language books about Spain or books set in Spain.

He established the business in response to the explosive growth in online mass market “soulless” book retailers, such as Amazon, and the continuing decline of the traditional independent bookshop with knowledgeable staff and an interesting collection of books.

Funeral arrangements should be announced on Wednesday 3 July, with the hope for a Friday service.
