Compulsory siesta introduced in a Valencia town

Student asleep

And as if enforcing bedtimes wasn’t enough trouble, parents are required to keep their children inside while loud music and television are prohibited.

Mayor Vitoria introduced this necessary nap in response to the heat wave to lower the risk of heat stroke in the agricultural town.
