FOOTBALL fans and women in Spain are in shock over controversial claims that Cristiano Ronaldo is in a gay relationship.
Expected to be denied, the shocking allegations suggest that Real Madrid’s record ever goal scorer is dating a Moroccan kickboxer.
Initial articles that have now been removed allege that the ex-Manchester United star, 30, made regular visits to Morocco for ‘cuddles’ with his friend Badr Hari.
The Portuguese winger’s reputation was put on the line by French TV star Daniel Riolo who inferred strongly that Ronaldo and Hari were more than friends.
“Ronaldo takes three or four jets a week to see a friend in Morocco to cuddle,” Riolo told the 400,000-strong audience of French show ‘Touche pas a mon sport’.
The unfounded claims have spread like wildfire across many news networks, but the majority have now been removed.
Ronaldo had a well-mediatised relationship with Russian model Irina Shayk which ended at Christmas 2014 due to his admission that he was messaging other women.
The footballer proclaimed himself pro-gay marriage in 2010 when Portugal passed the gay marriage law, saying ‘we must respect the choices of each other.’
Are you for real? “Shocking claim?” When I read this headline I thought I was reading my old high school newspaper. This is sad to see The Olive Press position a lifestyle choice in a negative fashion. You have just lost my respect.
So what if he is. I love how the sports world says “keep it to yourself” but you just cant stop yourselves by sticking your nose into his business.

Are the Olive Press editors living in the 70’s? Wake up it’s 2015. Headlines like this just show what a parochial newspaper you really are.
He could be gay, or you never know, maybe he isn’t. The bottom line is, it shouldn’t matter either way.
Daniel Riolo has no right of labeling Cristiano when he is not even in his shoes. If Ronaldo IS gay with Badr Hari, then it’s obvious that he is not ready to come out yet, because he obviously is sneaking around with it- that’s if, this is an actual thing. He shouldn’t be forced out of the closet by the press or this journalist, because none of them ARE Cristiano, and have no idea about what is really happening. After all, they can only judge the situation by just looking at it.
I admire their bromance, and if they ARE gay together, then they’d make a good couple.
