Cilla Black was the most Googled search of 2015 following death on Costa del Sol

CILLA Black was the most Googled search of 2015.

The late television presenter, who passed away at her Estepona villa in August, was searched online more than anyone, or anything else.  

Unsurprisingly, 80% of Cilla searches took place in August and September.

Meanwhile, fellow Costa del Sol homeowner Lady Colin Campbell was the second most Googled search.

Interest in Lady C peeked in the last two months following her appearance on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

Other popular Google searches for 2015 included the Rugby World Cup, Jeremy Clarkson and Charlie Hebdo.
