ON THE UP: Gareth Bale's Wales are one win away from qualifying for next summer's European Championships

GARETH Bale has broken a 58-year record by scoring in all three of Wales’ Euro 2016 games.

Bale bagged the third goal in Wales’s 3-0 win over Russia as Chris Coleman’s side qualified in first spot in Group B.

The in-form Real Madrid star has now scored more goals at international tournaments than any other Welshman, overhauling Ivor Allchurch’s previous record.

“We said we didn’t want to make the numbers up. Well, we can’t do any more than win the group,” said Bale.
