WATCH: Aircraft and dozens of firefighters called to huge forest fire in Spain’s Andalucia

UPDATE: The fire is believed to have been brought under control by firefighters

A FOREST fire has erupted in the hills of Motril.

The flames broke out at around 11.10am this morning with the cause of the blaze unknown.

Some 56 firefighters and a helicopter have been sworn in to tackle the fire.

The fire is situated near to the Gorgoracha Tunnel.
