Trio of Italian touts arrested in Spain for selling FAKE Champions League final tickets

CUFFED: The Italian men were arrested outside the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in Madrid

POLICE have arrested three Italians for selling fake Champions League final tickets.

The trio of touts were caught with 21 illegitimate tickets, €3,180 and five envelopes printed with the Champions League logo.

Box office staff at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid warned police of the group hanging around near the ground.

SHOWDOWN: The Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham takes place on June 1

One man reportedly carried a map, while another attempted to throw away the envelopes, and another tried to escape.

Once all three men were cuffed, police confirmed the tickets were fakes by testing their QR codes.
