Two rowdy men arrested after heated scrap on flight from Spain’s Mallorca to Dublin

Flight club: The two rowdy men were detained before being released

TWO men have been arrested on Irish soil after they caused a ruckus on a flight from Mallorca.

The two passengers, both in their 30s, were on a flight which left Spain at 2:50 am, and when they landed at Dublin Airport a fight broke out between them, at the bottom steps of the plane.

Airport police were called to the scene and promptly arrested the pair, who were then handed to the Garda Síochana.

The Garda said they have now released the men, pending further investigation into the altercation.

Via The Journal, an Aer Lingus spokesman confirmed that the flight landed safely in Ireland’s capital, adding:

“An incident following disembarkation involving two guests who were travelling on the flight has been reported to An Garda Siochana who are handling the matter accordingly.”
