WATCH: Heavily armed police storm CaixaBank and arrest ‘robber’ who had taken ‘hostages’ on Spain’s Costa del Sol

THIS is the moment armed police storm a bank where a man had ‘taken hostages’, before arresting him.

Dramatic footage shows around 10 officers approach a Caixabank in Estepona.

One officer can be heard on a megaphone, shouting ‘get down, get down’.

He adds: “First let the hostages go, get down to the floor, everybody get to the floor.”

A woman – who a witness said is the bank manager – can also been seen calmly entering the bank, before the suspected robber leaves through the front door and drops to his knees.

The incident took place at around 2:30pm today at Caixabank in Avenida Andalucia.

A former police officer told the Olive Press: “Today a man attempted to rob the Caixabank in Estepona.
