Famous brothel El Quijote in Pedreguer on the market for €2.5 million as estate agent praises ‘excellent location close to school, pharmacy and health centre’

El Quijote

PROXIMITY to schools, pharmacies and health centres would be an attractive selling point for most home owners looking to buy in the Costa Blanca region.

But estate agents have been praising these virtues in the sale of famous brothel El Quijote on the N-332 main road in Pedreguer, near Denia and Javea.

An advert for the property – on the market for €2,507,500 – lists the building as a ‘hostel’ and makes special mention of the 50 rooms at the 3.616m2 premises.

It also extolls the ‘well lit’ dining room and kitchen, adding there is a bus stop close by.

The establishment came under fire in 2006 when 15 illegal immigrants were caught at the El Quijote club with falsified documents and fake Schengen area stamps on their passports.

The women were engaging in prostitution at the club, according to police sources.
