His own Facebook profile page proudly proclaimed that the work and monitoring done by Policia Local and Guardia Civil, “has it’s reward.”

He explained: “An establishment in the town has been fined €100,000 for repeated offences in the sale of alcohol to minors and sale of alcohol after 10pm.”

The establishment, so far, has already been fined €15,000 over the last 3 years.

There was no detail about whether the premises was a bar or an off-licence.

He continued: “The latest complaints have been a VERY SERIOUS infraction that has led the Minister of Health to impose a sanction.”

He warned: “A new complaint will surely mean the closure of the activity.”
