Tommy Robinson threatens British journalists for revealing his €400-a-night Cyprus resort hideaway – after making similar threats against Olive Press reporters last year

FAR-RIGHT instigator Tommy Robinson has threatened British journalists for revealing his luxury hideout – just as he threatened Olive Press reporters last year for doing the same.

After a week in which the UK has seethed with violent anti-immigration riots from far-right mobs – many of whom were chanting Robinson’s name – the Daily Mail published photos of the Luton native lounging by the pool in a five star Ayia Napa resort in Cyprus.

Robinson, 41, then turned up in Athens, where he uploaded a video to X, formerly Twitter, telling Daily Mail reporters ‘I will find you.’

“Is it right to record me while I’m sitting with my mum?” he asked while sitting outside a cafe in the Greek capital.

“And if it is right, expect me to go to your mum’s,” he added.

His threats have an eerie similarity to ones he made against our journalists last October after we revealed he had been staying in a luxury villa on the Costa Blanca.

Robinson had been using the property in L’Albir, near Benidorm, last summer to host a series of British and American extremists on his podcast.

In retaliation for the Olive Press article, Robinson – real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon – claimed he had ‘found out’ where our reporters live.

“I got all your details straight away,” he claimed in a post on his Telegram channel while walking in the Alicante hills.

“I know exactly where you live. You live at your mum’s, you sad little p***k.

“What, you want to show pictures of where I live? See if you like it when I come and knock on your mum’s door.”

He later alleged that he will have to relocate again, as his children have faced threats from anti-fascist extremists.

The Olive Press revealed that the villa was owned by highstreet fashion billionaire Phillip Day, who used to own household brands such as Peacocks and Jaeger.

When alerted by the newspaper, a spokesperson for Day denied the clothing tycoon had any knowledge of who was using his villas, which are managed by a private company.

But the spokesperson insisted that Day took the matter very seriously and they were investigating how an extremist figure like Robinson had gained access to the property.

Robinson was declared bankrupt in 2021 and was unable to open a bank account or monetise his social media channels – until Elon Musk reactivated his account on X.

Yet the rumblings about how Robinson has been funding his seemingly lavish lifestyle continue.
