A LONG-TIME tourist to Spain, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been arrested over links to infamous paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The former British prince – who regularly summers in Sotogrande – was picked up this morning, on his 66th birthday, at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
He was arrested for misconduct in public office after the bombshell ‘Epstein Files’ raised suspicions that he had leaked sensitive information to the billionaire sex-offender while a UK trade envoy.
The ex-prince was also accused of sexual abuse by Virginia Guiffre, one the scandal’s most vocal survivors, who died last year, as well as people trafficking.
Andrew has regularly holidayed in the exclusive resort of Sotogrande with his ex-wife Fergie and many friends, who may have included Epstein, who regularly visited both Spain and Portugal in his private jet.
Indeed it was during the media frenzy surrounding the paedophile’s death in August 2019, and the allegations swirling around Andrew, that he hopped on a private jet to Andalucia with ex-wife Fergie.
The Olive Press finally located him and we revealed how he holed up at a 350-acre €41 million mansion just outside Sotogrande, attempting to avoid public scrutiny.
During the trip, Andrew however played golf at Valderrama, one of Spain’s most expensive clubs, where a single round costs over €400.
The Olive Press has long probed his links to the exclusive enclave in Andalucia, where he has typically stayed free of charge.
Jon Clarke, editor of The Olive Press, has been investigating royal links to Epstein and his paedophile network for nearly three decades.
This included a trio trips to the US (Miami and New York) in 1999 and 2000 to investigate Andrew and Fergie’s movements.
Then working in the investigations team at the Mail on Sunday he has long believed that Andrew was involved in the sexual abuse of minors.
Clarke also thinks that Epstein and Andrew could even be linked to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, in 2007, in Portugal.
Documents, released in the Epstein files, back up this theory.

They even believe Epstein might have been orchestrating it.
“The way he and all these shady millionaires flew in and out of southern Europe, mostly unchecked, on private jets suggest to me they were part of a big sex ring here” Clarke said today.
“Bit by bit, more and more information is trickling out. But given there may be as many as 3 million documents still to be released, it may be sometime before we find out the full story.”
A number of other documents linked to Olive Press articles were found in the Epstein files.
In particular an investigation we made into an aristocratic financial fraud linked to the Rothschild family came up a number of times in emails sent to and from the disgraced pedophile.

Andrew is currently in police custody in an undisclosed location.
King Charles said that the police have ‘our full and wholehearted support and co-operation’ and ‘the law must take its course’ in a statement.
Virginia Giuffre took her own life in April 2025, aged 41.
Her family released a statement reacting to the arrest: “At last, today our broken hearts have been lifted with the news that no one is above the law – not even royalty. He was never a prince. For survivors everywhere, Virginia did this for you.”
