THE Spanish National team is set to land in Madrid this afternoon, following their victory against Argentina in the World Cup final.
The world champions will land at 12.50pm from Newark International Airport in New Jersey, after beating Argentina 1-0 in the much anticipated final game.
‘La Roja’ will be greeted by the Royal Family and travel to the Moncloa palace, before touring the streets of Madrid on an open-top bus to celebrate their victory with fans.
Celebrations are set to take place between 6pm to 11pm, with crowds of over 60,000 expected to gather at Plaza de Cibeles to celebrate with the team.
