BAR staff from an Estepona beach club have spoken of the ‘terrifying experience’ of trying to save a Lithuanian man who had been shot in the carpark next to the club.
The 31-year-old man had been shot several times in broad daylight, on Tuesday 28th at around 5.30pm.
As the gunmen fled the scene, bar staff who had heard the shots came rushing out to attend to the man, who was bleeding profusely from four hits to the body, one in the buttocks.

The staff stayed with the man until the 112 emergency services showed up, taking the injured man to Costa del Sol hospital, where his condition is currently unknown.
“We all heard the gun shots without understanding what was going on,” Malaga Hoy reported the staff as saying.
The police have launched an investigation into the incidents, but no arrests have been made so far.
Taking to Facebook following the incident, the bar’s official page posted a statement denying allegations that their club was associated with the incident.
“We’re stunned by some of the comments we’ve seen.” The post reads, in reference to several accusatory comments on their page, which have since been deleted.
“The only thing we did was help an injured man and go through a terrifying experience. We didn’t understand what was happening, all we heard were gunshots.”
The post makes a comparison to a previous shooting, which took place in a nearby Aldi carpark in Estepona.
“What did Aldi have to do with that? Nothing! What did we have to do with this? Nothing!” The post said.
