• Angry: Farmers had the wool pulled over their eyes |
FARMERS in the Serrania de Ronda certainly had reason to say ‘Baaa Humbug!’ over the festive period.
For someone pulled the wool over their eyes in a big-money scam which involved some 2,400 sheep.
In total, they were paid 120,000 euros by a so-called farmer, who said he was from Granada.
However, on cashing their cheques, the farmers learnt that the account was empty.
Now that’s some baaad luck.
