The return of Zorro

ANTONIO Banderas was in Malaga yesterday to be with his brotherhood on Palm Sunday.

Famous for starring in the Mask of Zorro, the Malaga-born actor comes home every Easter and carried the Virgen de Lagrimas y Favores through the streets yesterday.

After sporting a rugged beard at the Oscars the Hollywood star appeared clean-shaven as Mayordomo for the throne, carried by 200 people and followed by 280 nazarenos.

Accompanied by Melanie Griffiths and daughter, Stella del Carmen, Banderas – famous for playing Zorro – revealed he is set to begin a Spanish film very soon.
