THREE Mallorca resorts have emerged as preferred holiday destinations for Brits this summer.
A study carried out by Lastminute.com found that Magaluf was the fourth most booked resort by Brits, followed by Alcudia in seventh and Palmanova in tenth.
Benidorm was the destination booked by the most Brits, with four other Spanish resorts also making up the top ten.
Lastminute said that Brits claimed the biggest factor in booking a Spanish holiday was the guarantee of ‘having a good time’.
This was followed by the friendliness and extrovert character of local people, the gastronomy and cultural diversity.
