SPANISH director Pedro Almodovar has scooped his fifth BAFTA.
The Skin I Live In won Best Foreign Language film in a ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London – although the man himself was not present to collect the prestigious award.
Almodovar has previously been awarded BAFTAs for All About My Mother in 1999 and Talk To Her in 2002.
Spain has always produced world class directors and actors and Almodovar is just the latest – if Spain could match this quality in the rest of their society – wow a totally different country.
