KING Juan Carlos’ son-in-law will appear in court today on corruption charges.

A total of 150 police officers have been drafted in to protect the Duke on the 35m ‘walk of shame’ between between his car and the court in Palma, Mallorca.

Inaki Urdangarin, 44, husband of Princess Cristina, is accused of creating a ‘black hole’ in his company the Noos Institute between 2004 and 2006, pocketing millionsof euros in state funds.

Earlier this week, speaking at an event in Barcelona accompanied by Queen Sofia and Justice Minister Alberto Ruiz Gallardon, King commented that under the Spanish Constitution only judges can judge, and that law ‘respects the rights of every person’.
