Picardo calls on Cameron over Gibraltar jet ski shooting

ROCK: Gibraltar leader Fabian Picardo said sovereignty is not up for discussion

CHIEF Minister Fabian Picardo has written to Prime Minister David Cameron to express his anger at Sundayโ€™s shooting incident in Gibraltar.

Though Picardo ‘acknowledges and appreciates’ Britainโ€™s outrage over the incident, which he calls ‘dangerous and wholly unacceptable’, he says it is not enough.

In his letter to Cameron, he writes: โ€œDiplomatic action to date appears to have had no material effect.โ€

Despite pressure from the British government for explanations, Spanish officials continue to deny the incident.
