Local author in his crime

A LOCAL author has written a collection of Andalucia-based short stories.

John Hardy, who has lived in the Axarquia for the past 19 years, penned the 12-strong collection of crime stories using real life situations as his inspiration.

Andalucian Mysteries tracks the experiences of British expats and holidaymakers living or staying on the Costa del Sol and their relationships with the local community.

Some stories use fictitious names of villages, but many incidents are based on events that actually happened – some of which Hardy witnessed.

The book is available for Kindle on Amazon.
