THE UK’s Europe minister David Lidington is set to visit Gibraltar June 29 and July 1 to witness firsthand continued delays at the border crossing.

Lidington has plans to meet with Gibraltar government’s Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister during his time on the Rock to discuss how the region has been dealing with Spanish pressure.

The minister will also join the Gibraltar Squadron for a tour around Gib’s waters to see how the Royal Navy is upholding Her Majesty’s sovereignty in the enclave.
