Young piano prodigy descends on Mijas for fundraising concert

MUSICAL child prodigy Tony Yun will play an exclusive concert in Mijas this weekend.

The 17-year-old pianist will play the likes of Beethoven, Bach and Stravinsky at the seafront Avanto restaurant on Sunday.

Yun, from Canada, has previously played with the China Philharmonic Orchestra and won the gold medal for young pianists at the CCTV Piano Competition.

He also won first prize for young pianists in the Pearl River-Kaysenburg National Youth Competition.

 

Guests will be welcomed at the entrance at the terrace with drinks and Canapes from 7.30pm.

Award-winning Local expat artist Debbie Lush will also be hosting an exhibition of her latest works.

Tickets for the event are €36, with €5 from every sold ticket going to the International Rotary Club Mijas’s newest project ADIMI.

The concert begins at 8pm.
