SHE’S pulled it off… a Malaga lass has been named the Best barmaid in Andalucia.

Philosophy student Desiree Carrera, 26, saw off competition from 20 finalists from around the region at the Estrella Galicia Championships in Cordoba.

The finalists were tested for speed, efficiency as well as their knowledge of the beer industry.

An independent jury awarded winner Carrera her weight in beer as well as 600 in cash.

She will go on to represent Malaga at the National Championships next year.

Carrera works at the Cervezoteca, in Alhaurin de la Torre.
