THE TV governing body of Andalucia has denounced a a male presenter for ‘unlawful conduct’ after he cut off his female co-star’s skirt.

The Consejo Audiovisual de Andalucía said the skit on live TV ‘promoted female stereotypes’.

It said it used sexist language, the objectification of women, their presentation under a sexualized perspective and a focus on intimate parts.

The footage was broadcast on Canal Sur during the La Tarde Aquí y Ahora show on September 4 and 5.

The consejo did not report ‘discrimination’, which would require legal action or more severe punishments.

The network nor the presenter have been ordered to pay a fine or apologise.
