Brit sentenced to prison for attempting to sell drugs at Spanish music festival

A BRITISH citizen has been sentenced to two years in prison following a drug bust at a music festival in Spain.

The defendant, known as ABJ, was caught on August 8, 2015 with a total of 6.51 grams and 37 tablets of ecstasy at Dreambeach Villaricos.

Held in Cuevas del Almanzora, Almería, it is the largest electronic music festival in Spain with 2018 marking its sixth year.

The drugs are believed to have a street value of around 500 euros.
