THIS is the moment a man was filmed praying behind his car on the motorway in Spain. 

The 17-second clip shows the unnamed individual, believed to be muslim, using his prayer mat behind a silver vehicle.

It is not known on which motorway the footage was recorded.

The clip was shared by road safety Facebook group N332 today.

“I respect their religious customs just as I want mine to be respected,” wrote on social media user, “The error is the site, of course. Surely Allah can wait until he finds the right one?”

Another said: “This could cause a huge accident … there is no religion that justifies that.”
