THE body of a missing British woman has been discovered near her home in Spain.
Guardia Civil have arrested a man believed to be 30-years-old after the 70-year-old’s body was found buried in Algar, Cadiz.
A search had been launched for the pensioner last Wednesday after she failed to return her rental car.
“I can confirm a body has been discovered in the immediate vicinity of a property in Algar.
“As a result of the discovery officers from an investigations unit in Cadiz have arrested a local man who will appear in court shortly,” said a Guardia Civil spokesman.
The officer added investigations were continuing.
