Malaga city to be one of the filming locations in upcoming British film about World War II

A PRODUCTION company is seeking extras for a British film on the Costa del Sol.

Modexpor is looking for men aged 20 and above to act as soldiers in the upcoming film about World War Two.

Casting directors are looking for a ‘classic look’ for the drama, which was originally billed as a series.

They want men with short hair and without beards or visible tattoos.

Not much has been released about the film, other than it is a British production and that it will be filmed in Malaga.

The casting will initially take place online.

Those interested must take a recent photo on a white background, with ‘Filming Malaga 2020’ clearly written below it.

They must then attach the photo to the online form, found here: https://www.modexpor.com /work-with-us.html.

Producers were seen visiting locations in the province last week, including Malaga city hall, where scenes are reportedly planned.

Filming will take place March 4-8, 2020.

Malaga has seen a boost in foreign film and series production in recent years.

This includes Netflix’s Warrior Nun, French-Canadian film The Power of Love and Snatch, starring Rupert Grint of Harry Potter fame.

Meanwhile, other Andalucia locations such as Sevilla have welcomed hit series like Game of Thrones.

Richard Gere was also spotted filming in the regional capital for an upcoming BBC series MotherFatherSon.
