LEVEL crossing barriers have failed to close in a shocking dashcam video in northern Spain.

Point-of-view footage shows the driver stop suddenly as a train ploughs through the crossing near Cetina, in Zaragoza.

“The failure of the barrier system is extremely serious,” the driver, Mari Carmen, said on a social media post gone viral.

“Everyone passing through the level crossing near Cetina must be warned.”

The video, recorded early this month, shows the barriers fully closing AFTER the train has already gone.
