Pandemic cash boost for home-workers and small firms with government grants of up to €15,000 in Spain’s Murcia

SELF-EMPLOYED people and companies that work in telesales have been given a boost in Spain’s Murcia region.

Grants are now available for workers to help buy telephony-related equipment to help improve the work-life balance during the coronavirus pandemic.

HOME-WORKING: Safer environment during the pandemic

€1.5 million has been put aside by the Murcia regional government with a maximum amount of €15,000 available to each beneficiary. 

The grants have been put together with support from the European Union.

Contributions can go up to 50 per cent of the eligible costs for medium-sized companies, 65 per cent for small companies and 85 per cent for micro-companies and the self-employed.

Expenses incurred from March 1 can also be included in any bids for cash help.

Grant applications can be made until September 30 via Instituto de Fomento
