New COVID-19 case rate slows down in latest figures from Spain’s Valencian Community

Another big weekly fall in new COVID-19 cases is reported in Costa Blanca and Valencia areas of Spain

NEW COVID-19 cases have fallen by almost a hundred in the latest set of figures announced today(September 25) in the Valencian Community.

The regional health ministry said that there have been 610 cases across the region compared to 707 yesterday.

Alicante Province, including the Costa Blanca, registered 204 new coronavirus infections, with one additional fatality.

16 cases have been recorded in three outbreaks in Elche with outbreaks in Gandia and Rojales involving three people each.

158 patients are being treated for COVID-19 in Alicante Province hospitals, with 30 of them admitted to ITUs.
