Council joins commemoration of the International Day Against Breast Cancer on Spain’s Costa Blanca

ORIHUELA City Council has joined the commemoration for International Day Against Breast Cancer for another year by installing two pink bows on the facade of its town hall

The Auditorium of La Lonja will be decorated in the same manner as a sign of support to all the people who suffer from the disease.

Almudena Baldo and Jose Galiano of the Department of Social Welfare and Health  (pictured above), launched the symbolic campaign of support  to give visibility and raise awareness.

It also demonstrated the council’s commitment in showing institutional support to the Spanish Association Against Cancer of Orihuela and to people and their families affected.
