Gastro tasting events return after absence of 10 months on Spain’s Costa Blanca

CIUDAD QUESADA and Rojales have announced two weekends of gastro delight in November, marking a return of such events after nearly eight months of Covid-19 restrictions.

The area’s Councillor for Tourism, Miriam Trives, revealed that the first two full weekends of November will see a total of seven establishments participate in Gastro Tasting events where special four-course tapas-based menus will be offered at 20 euros, including drinks.

Trives said she hopes the events will, “adapt to the new health situation without losing any of the quality of local gastronomy.”

Those restaurants and bars taking part include many award-winners and finalists in previous ‘Tapeo by Rojales’ days.

Due to social-distancing and sanitary measures, places are limited so bookings are recommended.
