FLIP FLOP: Coronavirus rules change AGAIN in Spain’s Andalucia as U16s permitted to play sport after 6pm

UNDER 16s in Andalucia ARE permitted to play outdoor sports after 6pm, the regional government has declared.

The flip flop comes after the Junta edited the new rules on Monday to say that minors could not play any form of sport past 6pm – the same hour non-essential businesses must close their doors.

But today it has been edited again, maintaining that sport in the open air for U16s, as well as indoors at the federated level, can continue past 6pm in areas on alert levels 3 and 4.

The only exception is in Granada, which has a much higher incidence of the coronavirus, remaining in alert level 2.

In Granada, all sports centres or activities must cease unless they non-contact sports, played in the open air.

However while federated-level sport activity is permitted, training, competitions and events at the amateur level are suspended.
